Charlie Jennison

The Paul Heckel Quartet consists of four veteran jazz musicians who also happen to be old friends and enjoy hanging out as much as playing music together.  We present a mix of jazz standards and originals in an instrumental format consisting of vibes, bass, sax and drums and pay homage to jazz artists of the late 20th century who performed in and around Boston (like Gary Burton, Sam Rivers, and Chick Corea).  The personnel are:  Paul Heckel - vibes John Hunter - bass Charlie Jennison - sax and flute Tim Gilmore - drums   https://www.paulheckel.com/quartet
