Iridescence Quintet in Concert

Crow's Feat Farm, 178 Drinkwater Rd., Kensington, NH

Our summer music series will comprise a series of outdoor concerts, running from 3-5pm on Sunday afternoons, starting July 12th through Mid-September. This is an opportunity for local musicians to celebrate their craft, make a bit of money, and bring joy to the community.

To keep guests safe, there will be a semi-circular seating arrangement radiating outward from the stage, with guests seated 6’ apart. We will ask everyone leaving their car to wear a mask until they are situated in the concert; masks will also be worn upon departure. Attendees can bring picnics, blankets, folding chairs, etc. Just like any bandstand concert in a New England summer afternoon!

We are excited to welcome an exceptionally talented group of musicians and expect these concerts to be fabulous. Check out the amazing acts listed on the website!

Kensington residents will be given priority as seating is limited. There will be no commercial activities associated with these concerts, apart from the musicians selling their own CDs.

Sharon Jones is an entertainer extraordinaire, in every sense of the word, because she can sing many different genres and she sings them well. Her musical roots are in Jazz, Rock, and R&B. and she may draw from any or all in a warm and intimate setting at CR's. I will be accompanying her on piano.

February 3 / Harry Jones Memorial Concert: Carmen Bradford with the Seacoast Big Band This year the Harry Jones Memorial Concert will feature 2019 Grammy Nominee Carmen Bradford with the Seacoast Big Band, directed by Dave Seiler. Carmen Bradford grew up with music in her home and in her heart. At the age of 22, Carmen was discovered and hired by William "Count" Basie and was the featured vocalist in the legendary Count Basie Orchestra for nine years. Carmen Bradford's body of work reflects a vast depth of musical experience and technical brilliance. She is also recognized for the overwhelming passion she brings to the lyrics. Carmen Bradford has truly contributed to the perpetuation and preservation of this great American art form called jazz and continues to do so at every performance.
