Charlie Jennison

Each year in connection with the celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King’s birthday the UNH Department of Music presents a concert by the Seacoast Big Band with a featured guest dedicated to the memory of a revered African American alumnus, Harry W. Jones, Jr. of Portsmouth, whose capacious love and appreciation for music and musicians reflected many of the values exemplified by Dr. King, transcending the limits of race and parochialism.
